About Me
My name is Emmelie Klooster. I am a 19 year old artist and teacher in training. I study at the Amsterdam University of the arts.
Art is my passion, it’s my medium to relax and my favorite activity to fill my spare time with. As I am getting more and more specialized in art I decided I want to share my art with the world.
On my website you can look through all the work I’ve made in my portfolio. In the shop you can buy the original pieces I created. I also make custom art pieces, on the commission art page you can email me your ideas for a custom art piece and I’ll get to work for you!
I also make tattoo designs, this started as a hobby for myself but now there are people in the world walking around with my art on their body and I am beyond grateful for that. Artist Statement
My goal in art is to make people think, reconsider and learn. I am inspired by the human being itself, that’s why I truly enjoy making commission art. I want to understand and translate their perspective of art into a piece of art. I want to discover all the layers of humans and that’s what my own art is about. The connection between the outer layers, the ones on the outside, and the emotions. In my commission work I learn how different peoples brain work and I want to combine my own personal look on something and theirs.
